1) avalanche, because avalanches are formed from snow on a high part of a mountain. 2) lava, because lava forms from the top of the mountain (valcano.) 3) mud slide, it can only slide up because its formed from the top. 4) rain, because it falls from the sky with force, so it goes down the mountain. 5) snow, because it falls from the sky Do you find this valuable?

"As you remember, the Continental Divide is an imaginary line which divides which location all rivers flow in North America. All rivers on the east side of the divide flow toward the Atlantic Ocean (or the Gulf of Mexico). All rivers on the west side of the Divide flow toward the Pacific Ocean.

So, you may be asking yourself... "What makes these waters flow in this direction"? Good Question! The reason the waters flow in the direction they do is because of the mountains. We all know that water can not flow UP a mountain.

List 5 other things that can not "go" up a mountain on it's own. Be creative, but accurate.
"
Five things that cannot go up a mountain is 1 being a Water 2 being a flag 3 being a soda
4 being a refrigerator 5 being a bike. That's all I can think of at the moment

Five other things that cannot go up a mountain on its own are: Lewis, Clark, avalanches, a falling rock, and a tourist that died during the journey down by falling, I don't know, maybe thirty feet into a pile of jagged rocks and broken bones from other unfortunate victims of the mountain. Do you find this valuable?
